One World Arts would like to invite you to take part in our annual Trivia Night, a FUNdraiser for One World Arts and the 30th One World Film Festival.
WHAT: Trivia Night
WHEN: Thursday, September 19th at 7:00 PM
WHERE: Shanghai Restaurant (651 Somerset Street, Ottawa)
Have a fun evening of thought-provoking entertainment as our trivia masters challenge your teams to battle it out!
Test your ability against friends, colleagues and complete strangers!
- Everyone is welcome.
- Lot’s of great prizes to be won!
- Raffle tickets.
- Form a team of up to 4 people in advance or join a group on the spot.
Game starts at 7PM (but arrive early to get a spot).
$10/person to play and to support a great cause.
All tickets sold at the door.
Make sure to arrive early to get a table and have dinner or drinks beforehand.
If you wish to attend this trivia night and have dinner in advance, it’s strongly recommended that you phone the restaurant and make your own dinner reservation (for around 6 pm) because of limited spaces.
Your participation at this and other events throughout the year will greatly help sustain one of Ottawa’s longest running film festivals. This is a very special year as it marks the Festival’s 30th anniversary!

One World Arts (formerly World Inter-Action Mondiale-WIAM) is a volunteer-based, charitable organization which has been working diligently with Canadian arts and community organizations to educate and mobilize Ottawa-Gatineau citizens on global issues since 1972.
The One World Film Festival is Ottawa’s longest running annual documentary film festival, focused on raising awareness on such issues as social justice, human rights and the environment.
