Thank you for supporting One World Arts and the 27th Annual One World Film Festival

The One World Film Festival wrapped up its 27th edition, which featured 4 days of thought-provoking International and Canadian documentaries and discussions on a range of global issues, on October 2nd.

One World Arts is enormously grateful for the support of the funders, partners, sponsors, members, volunteers, participants and audience members who make the annual One World Film Festival possible.

The 27th annual One World Film Festival was made possible, in large part, by grants from the Community Foundation of Ottawa, and the City of Ottawa, and the Ontario Arts Council, an agency of the Government of Ontario. Support from One World Arts’ Partners and SponsorsInter Pares, the Nobel Women’s Initiative, Oxfam Canada, UNHCR Canada, MiningWatch Canada, Merriam Print, Zulu Nyala Group, Studio View Productions, SAW Video, Bridgehead, and Beau’s Beer – also played a major role in supporting the delivery of the 2016 Festival.

One World Arts and Festival staff, the One World Arts Board of Directors, members of the One World Film Festival Organizing and Screening Committees, Festival volunteers, and members of One World Arts played a pivotal role in planning, delivering and supporting the 2016 Festival. Thank you! We couldn’t have done it without you.

Our heartfelt thanks also to all of our 2016 MCs, speakers, moderators, filmmakers, artists, and activists for volunteering their time and expertise to making the 27th annual One World Film Festival an enriching, educational and rewarding experience for us and our audience members. Additional thanks to La Cabaña for providing festival goers with access to delicious food at reasonable prices during our time at the Library and Archives of Canada (September 29th to October 1st).

Last, but not least, thank YOU for your support of the annual One World Film Festival and for attending our events and fundraisers throughout the year. We look forward to seeing you at our next event! If you would like to get involved, please email us at volunteer@oneworldarts.ca and/or connect with us on Facebook and Twitter.
