After Spring makes its Canadian Premiere September 30th at the 27th annual One World Film Festival. This compelling documentary, executive produced by Jon Stewart (former host of The Daily Show), had its World Premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival in New York earlier this year and has gone on to receive high praise from critics and move audiences at screenings across the United States and Europe.

The documentary immerses the viewer in the rhythms of Zaatari Refugee Camp in Jordan, the second-largest such camp in the world,  and takes a look at the role of the aid workers and the daily lives of Syrian families contemplating an uncertain future. A panel discussion on responding to the Syrian Refugee Crisis with Melanie Gallant (Head of Media Relations, Oxfam Canada), Mr. Johannes van der Klaauw (UNHCR Representative in Canada), and Professor Peter Showler (University of Ottawa) will follow the screening.
