The first program in One World Arts’ Ottawa 2017 series features a collection of short films that highlight Ottawa’s evolving physical, political, socio-economic and cultural landscape from 1938 to the present. The screenings will be followed by a discussion period with filmmakers Conor DeVries (Shawarma City) and Stephen Coleman (Project Cold Days).

One World Arts’ final program will touch on remarkable contributions made by an Ottawa family business with immigrant roots and a renowned indigenous architect whose iconic designs have shaped the national capital. The screenings will be followed by a Q&A with Ed Kucerak, Jane Gurr, Douglas Cardinal, and other special guests.
