2016 OWFF Launches September 15 with Enviro Doc “How to Let Go of the World and Love All the Things Climate Can’t Change”

One World Arts launches the 27th edition the One World Film Festival on September 15 at the ByTowne Cinema (325 Rideau St., Ottawa) with an announcement about the thought-provoking Canadian and international documentaries, panel discussions and workshops featured in the 2016 festival (September 29-October 2). Media and members of the public can meet with festival organizers and find out more about the films and activities featured in the 2016 festival.

The launch will also feature the Ottawa premiere of “How to Let Go of the World and Love All the Things Climate Can’t Change” at 6:30PM.

In this must-see documentary Oscar Nominated director Josh Fox (GASLAND) continues in his deeply personal style, investigating climate change – the greatest threat our world has ever known. Travelling to 12 countries on 6 continents, the film acknowledges that it may be too late to stop some of the worst consequences and asks, what is it that climate change can’t destroy? What is so deep within us that no calamity can take it away?

Tickets are $12.00 (available online now!) and proceeds the event will go to support the 27th annual One World Film Festival.
